Overkill Down Women Jacket

CONCEPT

Overkill is that piece that every mountaineer must have in their wardrobe. A four-season down jacket to use as an outer layer or under a shell. The Overkill down jacket can be useful in any situation, even for a trip around town thanks to its understated style. The high-quality 95/5 down padding makes it a very warm piece, despite its extremely low weight. Down is in fact composed of very thin and fine fibers that constitute the lightest means of trapping and retaining air without dispersing it to the outside, thus creating a thermal barrier with maximum efficiency. The volume of the down jacket is therefore exclusively composed of the air trapped by the fibers and can be reduced to a minimum by compacting it to be stored in a backpack with minimum bulk and weight. The outer fabric is an ultra-light 10D recycled ripstop nylon treated with PFC-free DWR for greater protection from the elements and is also robust to withstand frequent contact with rough surfaces, such as rock, ice and snow, which are often encountered in the mountains. Elastic with stopper at the bottom and lycra on the edge of the hood and cuffs to make the jacket fit snugly to the body and to prevent cold air from entering and warm air from escaping. A perfect mix of warmth, lightness and compressibility.
