CONCEPT

Crack Baby is a down -filled jacket with the perfect balance between warmth and weight. Designed to optimize mobility and warmth in any situation and reduce bulk to a minimum. Designed for use in the mountains in even prolonged conditions of very cold, Crack Baby is padded with a very high quality 850FP 90/10 down certified by the RDS (Responsible Down Standard) which guarantees that the goose feathers do not come from animals that have suffered unnecessary damage, such as force-feeding or live-plucking. In fact, feathers are made up of very thin and fine fibers that constitute the lightest means of trapping and retaining air without dispersing it to the outside, thus creating a thermal barrier with maximum efficiency. The volume of the down is therefore exclusively made up of the air trapped by the fibers and can be reduced to a minimum by compacting it to be stored in a backpack with minimum bulk and weight. The outer fabric is a durable, ultra-lightweight 10D recycled ripstop nylon treated with PFC- free DWR for added weather protection and durability.

Among the functional details of this jacket, the hood stands out, which is very practical both with and without a helmet thanks to the double adjustment; front with elastic on the sides and back with flap with Velcro that guarantee maximum fit and adherence. The sleeves are equipped with two cuffs with internal elastic seams to keep out drafts and keep the heat inside and adapt optimally to gloves.

Ergonomic shoulders and sleeves for a better fit, drawstring at the waist to prevent the garment from riding up during more accentuated movements and large front pockets complete the garment making it a must-have for every mountaineer who finds himself facing prolonged cold conditions.
